Mike is a certified Athletic Trainer, Rehabilitation Manager at Borgess-Pipp Hospital and director of Athletic Training Outreach at our Borgess-Pipp Hospital location. He earned his Masters degree in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University in 1995 and his Bachelors degree from Springfield College in 1992. Mike is certified in ASTYM and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He also has specialized training in SFMA (selective functional movement assessment) and comprehensive treatment of the shoulder and knee. Outside of work he enjoys weight training, golf, camping, hunting, and spending time with wife and 4 children.
Marjalize is a Physical Therapist who works in our Borgess-Pipp location. She earned her Bachelors of Physiotherapy from University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1992. Marjalize is currently working towards her certification as a CIMT (certified integrated manual therapist). She has specialized training in muscle energy techniques and Maitland manual therapy. Outside of work she enjoys wood carving and watching her friends kids play sports.
Wayne is a licensed Physical Therapist who works in our Borgess-Pipp location. He earned his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2004. Wayne is certified in the McKenzie Method for treatment of the spine and the extremities. He has a passion for teaching and helping other. Wayne was born in the Bahamas, grew up in Berrien Springs, MI and currently resides in Grand Rapids with is wife and two young children. Outside of work he stays busy with family activities, but enjoys boating, gardening and get-togethers in his spare time.
Andrew is licensed Occupational Therapist who works out of our Borgess-Pipp Hospital. Andrew received his Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 2012. He also earned a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Western Michigan University in 2011. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, he worked as a Personal Trainer and was certified through the American Council on Exercise.. Andrew enjoys coaching his son’s little league team, hiking, and biking. Andrew is also a huge Tigers and U of M football / basketball fan!
Jaci is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in our Borgess Pipp Location. She earned her Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2009 from Genesee Community College. Jacki has had past professional experience as an Admissions Counselor and coaching soccer. Outside of work, she enjoys participating in and playing soccer, mountain biking, and is able to communicate in Spanish.
Becky is a licensed Occupational Therapist in our Borgess-Pipp location. She earned her Bachelors of Science as an Occupational Therapist from Western Michigan University in 1994. Rebecca is certified in ASTYM and has her certification in Massage Therapy from Kalamazoo Center from Healing Arts which she earned in 2007. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and being in nature.
Louise is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who works out of our Borgess-Pipp Hospital location. Louise earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Baker College of Muskegon in 2011. Louise also has an associates degree in Food and Beverage Management from Grand Rapids Jr. College in 1989. Louise has specialized training in aquatic exercise and Rotator Cuff rehabilitation. Outside of work Louise enjoys going to the beach, walking, gardening, camping, fishing and old movies.
Aaron is the Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager at our Borgess-Pipp Location. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, with a specialty in Exercise Physiology. Aaron is an avid guitar player, as well as enjoys training for and competing in strong-man and power-lifting competitions, and was a member of the 2007 USA National team that competed in France.
Missy is the Office Administrator at our Borgess Pipp location. She graduated from Everest Career Institute in 2003 and has her certification as a Medical Assistant. Outside of work she enjoys running, walking, kayaking, cycling, and reading.
